While available equipment data cannot forecast all issues, the new wave of real-time (or near-real-time) information presents an opportunity to fundamentally change how equipment is maintained. In this session, identify new skills needed to ensure a smooth transition from reactive to predictive fleet management. Moving toward an analytics-based approach is a solid strategy for continuous improvement, providing insights that can change equipment design and materials, and indicate early failure potential. Attendees will explore outcomes of a successful predictive maintenance strategy, including improved reliability and reduced workflow disruption.
