Work Truck Week 2024 exhibitor press kits

Attract media to your booth

An effective way to leverage your Work Truck Week® participation and increase awareness of your company, new products or services is by providing attending media with a press kit. NTEA recommends you ship or bring 50 copies of your press kit to the Work Truck Week Pressroom, Room 243, Indiana Convention Center.

Why?

Editors use the Pressroom to gather exhibitor press materials and get leads on new products and stories they might otherwise miss. Providing press kits in the Pressroom may help expose your company and products to new audiences. Every year, more than 100 editors, reporters, writers, videographers and publishers representing 600 media outlets attend Work Truck Week. Put your news in their hands with a press kit. Check out these tips for writing an effective press release.

Press kit tips

  • Press kits can be printed, digital (memory stick) or online
  • Put your high-impact news release first
  • Prominently display your company’s booth number
  • Include high-resolution photos
  • Consider providing video
  • Provide electronic versions of materials or a download link
  • Don’t include lengthy brochures or catalog sheets
  • Include on-site and post-event contact information

Want to save paper?

Many companies are moving to online press kits or media sites. If you want media to know where to find your Work Truck Week news, you can bring a tabletop sign (no larger than 8 ½ x 11 inches) to the Pressroom. The sign should include the URL or QR code for media to visit, your booth number, media contact information and a compelling reason for media to visit the site. Or get creative! Exhibitors at past events have shared their media site information on snack labels, trinkets, and business-card sized handouts.
