1. What is The Work Truck Show®?
The Work Truck Show 2017 is the ultimate resource for work truck industry professionals. See the latest commercial truck and equipment offerings, visit with hundreds of exhibiting companies, get answers to critical technical questions, interact with thousands of industry peers, meet with current suppliers and learn the latest industry information in a variety of educational sessions.

This trade show, produced by NTEA—the Association for the Work Truck Industry, is North America’s largest gathering of vocational trucks and equipment from Classes 1–8, including chassis, bodies, components and accessories. With suppliers introducing new products and innovations in the exhibit hall, and thousands of decision-makers and industry professionals in attendance, this is the industry event of the year. 2. What is the Green Truck Summit?
Held in conjunction with The Work Truck Show, the Green Truck Summit delivers the latest on clean energy innovations for commercial vehicles. The Summit features top industry experts, government officials and early-adopter fleet managers sharing insights and lessons learned. Topics range from new productivity options and successful implementation of green technologies to regulatory and funding updates.

3. Why should I attend?
The Work Truck Show draws thousands of industry professionals, including truck equipment manufacturers, distributors, dealers, fleet managers, leasing companies, government buyers, and more. There are opportunities for seeing the newest vocational truck and equipment displays; meeting with current and prospective suppliers; interacting with peers; and finding solutions to critical technical questions. 4. When and where is the event?
The Work Truck Show 2017 takes place March 14–17, 2017 at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis. Educational sessions and the Green Truck Summit begin March 14. The exhibit hall is open March 15–17.

5. Where is the Indiana Convention Center located?
The Indiana Convention Center is located at 100 South Capitol Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana, 46225. Visit icclos.com for maps and interactive driving directions for details. The Convention Center is approximately 15 minutes from Indianapolis International Airport (IND), and is connected by skywalk to many hotels.

7. How do I register for the Show?

8. How much does it cost to attend this event?

9. How can I get discounts on registration?

10. I just registered. How do I know if it went through?
Whether you register through fax, mail, phone or web, you will receive a confirmation notice via email within one week. Your badge will be waiting for you on-site at either of the two conveniently located registration areas. If you have any questions, call 800-441-6832.

11. I registered for the Trade Show Badge Package. Can I upgrade to a Conference & Trade Show Package?
Yes, you may upgrade your registration package or add tickets for special events. All changes or cancellations must be submitted in writing to registrar@ntea.com or faxed to 248-489-8590. You will receive confirmation of these changes within one week.

12. Can I register on-site? When is on-site registration open?
Yes, you may register at the Indiana Convention Center at either of the two conveniently located registration areas.

On-site registration hours are: 
Monday, March 13                     noon–5 p.m.
Tuesday, March 14                     7 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, March 15               7 a.m.–5 p.m.
Thursday, March 16                   7 a.m.–5 p.m.
Friday, March 17                        8 a.m.–noon

13. Can you recommend a place to stay?
NTEA has arranged discounted rates for Show registrants at nearby Indianapolis hotels. Make reservations online or call 317-262-8191, Monday–Friday from 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. EST. Hotel confirmations are sent via email or fax within 24 hours.

14. Do I need a car? Is convenient parking available?
If you are flying into Indianapolis, a rental car is not necessary. The event and featured accommodations are conveniently situated in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. Therefore, you will only require transportation to and from the airport.

If you are driving to Indianapolis, abundant downtown parking options are available.

If you are staying at a hotel in downtown Indianapolis during the Show, you may make arrangements to use the hotel’s parking lots for your vehicles. Parking rates and availability vary based on vehicle size and lot location.

Free parking is available at the Indianapolis Zoo, located near the Convention Center, at 1200 West Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46222. Complimentary shuttle buses will loop between the Convention Center and Zoo parking lot.


*From noon-5 p.m. on Friday, March 17, the shuttle will also loop to the marshalling yard for exhibitors.

For your convenience, NTEA is offering this parking and shuttle service free-of-charge.

15. Will there be shuttles to/from my hotel and the Indiana Convention Center?
All NTEA-designated hotels are within walking distance of the Convention Center, and many are connected via skywalk. Shuttle buses and cars are not necessary to take you from these hotels to the Convention Center. View a hotel map.

16. What will I find in the exhibit hall?
Products from all aspects of the industry — including chassis, bodies, aerial devices, snow and ice control equipment, accessories and components — are featured at the Show, with many exhibitors revealing or launching new offerings. 19. Can I preview the floor plan?
Absolutely. The interactive floor plan offers helpful details about exhibitors and their products. Also, My Show Planner allows you to build an online agenda to maximize time at the Show.

20. Is there a Work Truck Show app?
Yes, the official Work Truck Show 2017 app will be released later this year. This free app enables you to communicate with other attendees using the messaging feature; access the interactive floor plan; browse educational sessions and a schedule of events; and create a personalized schedule and get reminders.

21. Any tips on what I should wear?
Business casual is recommended, but it never hurts to pack something appropriate for a night out on the town. Be sure to bring comfortable shoes.

22. Should I bring anything special?
Bring lots of business cards as there are unlimited networking opportunities with thousands of industry peers. While most exhibitors equip their booths with technology to scan badge data, some booths host drawings requiring business cards.
