Lightweight and advanced technology demo trucks at WTS17

To promote the use of work truck fuel savings through lightweighting and productivity technology, Green Truck Association (GTA) and its Lightweight Technology Council, as part of NTEA, are showcasing products and equipment, as well as educating the work truck industry, at The Work Truck Show® 2017.

The Lightweight and Advanced Technology Demo Trucks Display (March 15-17, 2017, at the Indiana Convention Center) will highlight components and technology of participating companies that result in fuel and emissions savings. Two vehicles — a Ford F-350 aluminum cab chassis and an Isuzu NPR with 13,000 pounds gross vehicle weight rating — will be upfitted with the selected components/technology as part of this display.

The technical expertise of the National Renewable Energy Lab’s (NREL) engineers will be leveraged to project the fuel and emissions benefits of each model vehicle resulting from the use of the components and technology. View NREL presentation.
