Comtruk SUB®: RAM ProMaster with all-new drop-side flatbed
Comtruk Sport Utility Bed (SUB) is the new industry standard for chassis cab flatbeds with drop-side capability. Built for all your commercial vehicle needs, SUB has been engineered to fit across popular brands of chassis cabs to provide the strength and efficiency your business depends on for success. The SUB load management system checks all the right boxes — it delivers easier and safer loading, optimized payload, and increased fuel efficiency and system durability.

SUB’s drop-side flatbed is the perfect upfit platform that adapts to the job or industry. Engineered to accept the most popular brands of accessories, configure it to carry ladders, water tanks, timber, tools, and more. The operable gates can be lowered to 90 degree or 180 degrees, or easily removed. Ergonomic gate release handles, integrated safety steps and assist handles allow users to do more with less effort and less risk.

Made of industrial-grade, high strength alloy, the drop-side flatbed is strong, lightweight, corrosion-resistant and durable, using less fuel and delivering a longer service life. It has been built and tested to last.

Comtruk SUB: Ford Ranger with all-new drop-side flatbed
Comtruk’s SUB is the new generation of pickup bed with operable gates. Tested on the road and worksite, the flexible SUB adapts to commercial and fleet needs. Made of light and durable industrial-grade alloy, it saves on fuel, resists corrosion and delivers a longer service life. It offers flatter floor space compared to a standard pickup bed, allowing it to haul more.

Integrated steps and handles, and the easy-to-operate side gates and tailgate, increase system flexibility and enable safer loading practices. Gates can even be locked in place at 90 degrees and turned into a worksite workbench. SUB lends itself to repeatable loading/unloading processes for documentation in standard operating procedures.

SUB accommodates the most popular brands of accessories, allowing for customization for the job or industry. Haul more, and keep what you haul more organized.

Isuzu Commercial Truck of America Inc.
Booth 4639
Drive the Isuzu FTR and experience a Class 6 LCF truck offering the right combination of performance, maneuverability, dependability and efficiency. FTR’s eco-friendly powertrain will be powered with a B20 biodiesel blend, thanks to National Biodiesel Board.

In recent testing, certified by Sports Car Club of America, FTR had the best fuel economy in stop-and-go city driving and was the clear champion of maneuverability. These two benefits alone are sure to get the attention of Class 6 customers, and FTR’s eight wheelbases provide flexibility for accommodating bodies up to 30 feet in length.

At The Work Truck Show Ride-and-Drive, you get to experience it with a 20-foot body to see for yourself the visibility and maneuverability synonymous with Isuzu trucks.

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America Inc.
Booth 5159
FUSO, a leader in truck innovation, successfully developed and delivered the industry’s first all-electric truck in series production. eCanter changes the urban landscape by providing zero tailpipe emissions, while eliminating the noise of traditionally powered medium-duty trucks. These first-generation series-produced trucks can achieve a range of 60–80 miles, with advanced charging capabilities of one-to-two hours via a DC fast-charge option.

SEA Electric
SEA Electric is an automotive technology company offering proprietary battery-electric power-system technology for the commercial vehicle sector. SEA Electric developed seven SEA-DriveTM power-systems to electrify the distribution vehicle segment of the automotive industry, from vans to 55,000-pound rigid trucks.

At The Work Truck Show Ride-and-Drive, SEA Electric will showcase an Isuzu NRR with the SEA-Drive propulsion system. The proprietary SEA-Drive technology is unique in the following ways:

  1. It has been developed on flexible architecture, allowing both the optimization of energy consumption for each sub-system while also allowing a framework on which new developments in sub-system hardware can be introduced and adapted in the future. This results in a “live” system, where continuous improvement is possible, which ultimately de-risks the purchasing decision for fleet buyers.
  2. Mid-mounted batteries provide optimized vehicle balance and future-proofing against expected side impact legislation.
  3. A unique charging methodology reduces the need for expensive off-board fast-charging.
  4. A highly efficient and simple installation process ensures world-class total cost of ownership for the complete electric commercial vehicle.

With vehicles operating and proven in many countries and SEA Electric offices now in U.S., Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, SEA Electric is well positioned to expand its SEA-Drive power-system offering into this rapidly growing segment.
