CARDONE launches new Fleet Direct program at WTS19

3/7/19

CARDONE Industries announced its new Fleet Direct Program. Fleet customers enrolled in the program will enjoy direct access to CARDONE’s vast inventory and priority shipping to any location.

To launch the program, CARDONE hired fleet industry expert, Amy Dobrikova as VP of Channel Sales Fleet. “I see so much potential for CARDONE to grow in the fleet sector. With our diverse product offering, sustainable remanufacturing processes and ability to offer significant cost savings to fleets nationwide, CARDONE offers a winning combination of product replacement solutions. I am excited to represent CARDONE and help launch its new Fleet Direct Program to save fleets money,” said Dobrikova.

While CARDONE offers both new and remanufactured parts, the company’s 49-year history is rooted in remanufacturing, where discarded Original Equipment parts are completely disassembled, cleaned and renewed at a fraction of the original manufacturing cost. “The most sustainable solution for fleets is to use remanufactured parts that keep going and going!” stated Dobrikova, who also served as Chairman of the NTEA Green Truck Association Board of Governors last year.

CARDONE offers over 43,000 SKUs and 90 product lines covering brakes, drivetrain, engine, electrical, electronics, fuel/air, motors, pumps and steering systems. The products specifically featured at the Work Truck Show include:

  • Heavy Duty Air Disc Calipers
  • Complete Axle Assemblies
  • Turbochargers

CARDONE’s Remanufactured Heavy Duty Air Disc Caliper program was designed to provide the components needed to replace brake systems for the rapidly growing market of class 7 and 8 vehicles such as trucks, tractors, trailers, school buses, transit buses and motor coaches. A key component to the program is a patented guide pin grease kit. When used, the pin grease kit can extend caliper life, reducing maintenance costs.

CARDONE Remanufactured Complete Axle Assemblies, designed using only brand-new Original Equipment (OE) internal products, significantly reduce labor time by over 50%, as units are bolt-on ready. Leveraging its logistics competencies, CARDONE has made the core return process very easy for fleet technicians working on light and medium duty trucks. The new replacement unit comes in a reusable crate that a technician can refill with the core. CARDONE then makes all the return shipping arrangements and covers the cost.

CARDONE’s New and Remanufactured Turbocharger offering is the most comprehensive program in the aftermarket, covering most light to medium duty trucks and passenger cars. The company recognizes the growing trend of turbo-equipped vehicle production and has met the demand with a dramatic ramp up of turbocharger production and addition of service kits, cartridges and other components to its offering.

“Our new Fleet Direct Program is a big step forward in our growth as a premium, full service provider to the fleet channel,” said George Dunham, VP of Business Development. “I am excited to have Amy Dobrikova on board to leverage CARDONE’s competencies to grow this market.”
