The OTC DAIHEN ED-ARC 100 robotic welding system is a completely mobile, fully enclosed and safety interlocked training station. Stop by to learn how to safely enable the robot, move it around via remote control and teach it to weld.

This robotic welding system features a stationary table design to allow robotic weld training on small parts with the OTC DAIHEN FD-H5 tabletop welding robot. Featuring a lightweight aluminum frame and polycarbonate arc flash enclosure, the system supports portable transfer of authentic production welding capability into the classroom for hands-on instruction.

NTEA’s Vehicle Center of Gravity and Axle Weight Calculator is a web-based, interactive tool (free to members) that assists in developing vehicle specification and weight information, along with understanding Federal Bridge Law assessments. The TruckScience application is a next-level solution for companies with more complex project needs, providing a higher level of functionality and support. This cloud-based offering is available at a discounted subscription rate for NTEA members. When upfitting or modifying a vehicle, calculations from NTEA and TruckScience tools produce information to share with customers and assist in understanding how certain industry standards may apply — both in spec’ing prior to purchase and after upfitting is complete. Vehicle life Cycle Cost Tool

NTEA’s cloud-based Vehicle Life Cycle Cost Tool is a free member resource designed to be flexible and user-friendly to accommodate a variety of truck life cycle analysis needs and different fleet structures. It enables fleets, engineers and sales representatives to load differing depreciation methodologies (such as straight-line, accelerated and pool depreciation techniques), fuel types and regional fuel prices to fit the necessary truck or fleet analysis. Users can also incorporate the impact of income taxes into business decisions, where appropriate, and perform what-if scenarios.
